Pastor Robert LeCount, Jr. was born on August 1, 1958 in Jacksonville, FL to Margaret LeCount and the late Robert LeCount, Sr., to whom he is the fourth and only son of four children born to this union. He accepted Christ at the age of seventeen years old and was called in the ministry at the age of twenty years old. He was ordained and chosen as the Missionary for the Gateway Baptist Association in 1993. This minister was called to Pastor Emmaus Baptist Church for 5 years until God birthed the vision for the Disciples of Christ Christian Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church Inc., in 2003, where he is currently serving as the Senior Pastor.

Pastor LeCount has received several certificates and awards such as from the Mobile Security Squadron Three Detachment Bahrain, Desert Storm, Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship, the State of Florida, and W. M. Raines for his outstanding service and leadership. In 2012, Pastor LeCount was also awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree. Under his leadership twelve ministers have been licensed to help spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Pastor LeCount’s focus is outreach ministry in the Community and because of his passion for violence to cease in our city, in 2008 he started the “Quench the Violence Rally” to bring awareness in the Community to let them know that he along with others want the “Killing to Stop.” He is partners with the Arms of Mercy Drug Free Ministry and is currently serving as 1st Vice President of the Baptist Ministers Alliance in Jacksonville.
Pastor LeCount is married to Lady Diane LeCount and they are the proud parents of 7 children, 4 living, and 14 grandchildren. Because of his love for family and the community, they are active in ministries such as the Nursing Home, feeding, and clothing just to name a few.
