Our pastor

Meet Pastor Robert LeCount Jr.

A Jacksonville native, Pastor LeCount answered the call to ministry as a young man and has spent his life since serving this city. In 2003, after years of faithful pastoring, God birthed the vision for Disciples of Christ — a church built on love for God and love for the neighborhood around it.

He leads alongside his wife, Lady Diane, with a heart that has always been in the community. He founded the Quench the Violence Rally to stand against the loss of life in our streets, and together they stay close to the work that matters — feeding, clothing, and caring for people right where they are.

"A caring leader will build up his church, and a caring church will build up its leader."

Twice a month, the doors open wider. Our food pantry is here for anyone in need, no questions, no qualifications, just neighbors showing up for neighbors.

Our intercessory prayer team is standing by to pray with you and for you. Share what's on your heart — in as much or as little detail as you'd like. Nothing is too big or too small to bring before God.
